Mission Statement

Scottish Society of Central Pennsylvania

Article II—Purpose

The purpose of the Society will be to promote an interest in the history, culture, and traditions of Scotland and Scottish-American heritage and foster such interest through meetings, educational and cultural programs, games, and other activities.  The Society, through its activities, will preserve the traditions of that heritage and pass the same to future generations.

The Society shall at all times be operated on a not for profit basis, and no interest or dividends shall be paid or payable by the Society to any Board Member or member as such and shall be operated for the charitable purposes for which the Society was created.
